pedals for pediatrics

Congratulations on completing the PMC!

Thanks for sharing your photos, videos and thoughts. It was truly amazing to see all the P4P riders out there this weekend. The team has grown from 5 riders in 2004 to 65 in 2010! Thanks to all of you, P4P continues to grow as you tell your family, friends, neighbors and colleagues about the mission of Pedals for Pediatrics. We are at $266,288.14 as of today, and I expect that we'll approach or pass the $300,000 mark by October 1st. This is great news for the patients and families at Dana-Farber/Children's Hospital Cancer Care…and beyond.

Hope everyone had a safe ride. Unfortunately a few of our team members had some setbacks in the way of flat tires, wrong directions and sore muscles (Dennis Ratliff unfortunately suffered from all three!) but you still made it and were successful in raising dollars and awareness for a great cause.

Please send along any photos you have from the weekend to Ernie Savoie (esavoie@verizon.net) or me (Lisa.Morrissey@childrens.harvard.edu) , and we'll get them posted on the website. (One thing you'll notice when I post mine….Bob likes to get his picture taken!)

Once our fundraising is completed (after October 1st) we'll be sending out more information about the fall board meeting, where we decide how to allocate our 2010 funds.

Congratulations, and thanks again for all you've done.

Take care, Lisa and Bob
